An ongoing project, we have worked with our client over the years to gradually and sensitively restore this Victorian property. We have honoured the building’s heritage by retaining its original interior architectural details such as cornicing, picture rails, ceiling roses, and then created contrast for a more contemporary home by using luxurious yet simple finishes and soft furnishings throughout.

THE BRIEF
Designed for a former yoga teacher, wanted her home to ooze tranquility, whilst still being a practical space to accommodate her three lively young children. Our aim was to create a sanctuary for these busy parents. We zoned the house into family friendly areas, and areas that, whilst still practical, are definitely more grown up. Plenty of open space ensures that a yoga mat can be rolled out just about anywhere to catch that savasana.

Moving from the heart of the city to the countryside was a big move for this young couple and their adorable King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. Despite moving to a family home, they wanted to maintain a young and fresh feeling. We balanced velvets with linens and neutrals with pops of colour, to create an elegant but relaxed interior throughout. From kitchen to bathrooms, sitting room to bedrooms, every detail has been considered to be relevant not only today, but in years to come.

Wanting to turn their barn in to a forever family home, we soon saw the potential to restore this property. The consistent palette lends itself to the open plan living; packed full of warm neutrals and blues throughout. Even with its contemporary touches, this home remains true to itself with original exposed beams remaining at the forefront throughout.

To update a family home in Surrey in time for its imminent new arrival, a beautiful baby girl, who has been shortly followed by a bouncing baby boy. Practicality was, as always, at the forefront of the design, without sacrificing the all important luxurious feel.

This was achieved by maintaining a predominantly neutral palette for ease and timelessness, layered up with multiple textures, colours and palettes in the soft furnishings and accessories.

With an ever expanding family, there was particular emphasis on creating sanctuary-like guest suites for children and adults alike. The style was modern country; one of our favourites.
